Atlanta Persian & Siamese Rescue is a Non-Profit, No-Kill rescue organization and sanctuary devoted to the rescue and adoption of the Persian & Siamese breeds. It is through our years of experience and research in feline health and genetics that allows us to best care for these beautiful animals. From the moment a needy kitty enters through our doors, they are treated more like a guest than a homeless animal. They receive the best medical care, they are beautifully groomed, they eat only premium quality food and they enjoy a beautifully furnished and comfortable environment. And of course, they are given lots of love! We are proud of the work we have done so far, and we will continue to devote our lives to these wonderful animals until there are no homeless cats in this world.

Atlanta Persian & Siamese Rescue needs your help! Our Veterinary expenses still continue to be our #1 expense and because we receive absolutely NO funding whatsoever, we have to pay for all of this solely by donations and adoption fees. Currently, an average of 10 cats per week are taken to our Veterinarians for spays/neuters, FELV/FIV testing, rabies vaccinations and general exams. The expense is draining our resources and that's why we must ask for help!! Our biggest need is for monetary donations to help pay for our Veterinary expenses. Our next biggest need is CANNED FOOD. We go through 20 cans of Friskies cat food per DAY (or 10 large cans). The reason why we feed canned food daily is because all the shelter cats receive vitamins and nutritional supplements whch must be mixed in canned food or they will not eat it. This regimen has optimized the health of our kitties and we'd like to continue it indefinitely. We prefer IAMS or FRISKIES brand. We are also in need of "Iams", "Purina One", or "Purina Pro Plan" dry cat food, flea shampoo, Advantage or Frontline flea control, inexpensive clay cat litter, litter box liners, old towels, bath mats, paper towels, large garbage bags, spray cleaner with bleach, cat toys, treats, etc. AND MOST IMPORTANTLY, we need volunteers to help with our daily cleanup of the shelter as well as foster homes for orphaned or nursing kittens. Last but not least, we need people to help organize fundraisers so we can pay for all the expenses and continue saving cats!
